yo yo...work is fun now. i started training for my first radar scope so i'm in the back lab running problems before i train on the floor. My work day now consists of playing video games essentially with sizeable breaks in between. its really fun. Today they moved up the difficulty on me, and the guy running the problem was testing me by making the planes do things they weren't supposed to and throwing curveballs and he said i did well by recognizing it. The girl im training with stinks. She wears winter jackets all the time. It was 95 degrees today in the area work is in.

Does anyone remember the VH1 Divas concert in 1998? It was pretty good. Some good "divas" with some good performances: Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey, Shania Twain, Gloria Estefan, Carole King. It got progressively shittier every year. And then they stopped in 2004.
Well they're doing it again this year, and really...wtf. The "Divas" include: Kelly Clarkson, Leona Lewis, Miley Cyrus (...), Jordin Sparks, and Adele. Now...those all sound like new artists to me... And I'm pretty sure "16-year-old skank whore" doesn't translate to "diva" in any language...but I could be wrong.

Hello everyone. So since I last posted, I have adopted Hans. Lots of work, but he's really a very good boy. And he totally loves me, so...win. He's a very cuddly dog and likes to sleep pressed up against me. He's also a heartless eating machine. He'll eat anything and everything. Here are more pictures:

yo yo...idk why but i've been thinking lately about one day living in either Texas or one of the Carolinas and having a farm and/or Plantation. I want to raise some animals, not too many. And have a giant porch that wraps around my house. The idea of living in one of those places interests me for some reason.
Speaking of interests, i'm going to give surfing a try but last night i started to get real freaked out about being eaten by a shark. This may be a bad idea. I was trying to decide whether i'd rather die or be horribly disfigured by shark attack. Normally i'd say die, but the idea of my body being dragged out to sea and eaten isn't pleasing.
In one of Kevin Smith's podcasts he discussed how the idea of a shark attack is so degrading to him because a limb is so precious to us, physically, mentally....but to a shark its just something that they eat and then later shit out. He was saying how there is nothing more degrading than another animal eating your lifelyhood and then shitting it out. I tend to agree.

yo yo...for harry potter fans...
In Kevin Smith's latest podcast him and his co-host discussed harry potter....he brought up the idea about what if Harry Potter was done taking magic out the equation. If the story was something like Voldemort broke into HArrys home and shot his parents and the head with a gun, and Harry went to an inner city school where he had to learn to defend himself. They discussed harry potter for a while, Kevin Smith actually likes it...you guys should check out his podcast (called smodcast) if you're interested

So I've filled out an application to adopt Hans, a mix-breed dog that I've fallen in love with at a local shelter. My approval is pending and then he might be mine...how exciting!!
He's about 45-50 pounds and according to the peeps at the shelter is likely part American Bulldog with various other breeds mixed in. His eyes are green and sometimes he's cross-eyed. Apparently he almost got adopted by a military family, but they didn't want him because he didn't bark enough and they were looking for a watchdog apparently. He REALLY likes playing in a baby pool...so I'll have to get one of those.
Here are some pictures I took with my phone when I went to go play with him:

yo yo...some thoughts
-its weird being in real life, but good kinda weird. normally before i always had a sense of a ticking clock, whether it be time until a big paper was due, or some other big responsiblity was coming up, or summer ending and school starting back up. Its almost like the first day of no responsiblity is really just one quicker day until you need to fulfill that responsiblity. But i don't have that anymore! its kinda neat, and especially weather always being nice here i don't have to feel pressured about that either. you all should give it a shot
-ive noticed in the parking lot at work a few people have sun shades on under their windshields(reflective materail that reflects sun to keep ur car cooler. It has to be the single ugliest thing you can do to your car. THat or a car bra.
-Iphones are great. It really makes the world so much better. Example. When karen came to visit when she explored while i was at work I didn't have to worry about giving her explicit directions to a certain place, or worry about providing her with exact locations of places to eat with exact menus. Its pretty much liek as long as your iphone is halfway charged its the only survival tool you need. YOu can do anything. If there was only some sort of blade that can come out of it and a water purifier it would literally be the best survival tool. Everyone should get issued one along with a social security card.
THe only bad things when phones are too good is when you see people nowadays play on their phones too much. Obviosuly its fine but it gets weird on social settings. I'm sure if youre reading this in a public place you can look around and see people playing on their phones, we all do, but when you do it in small social settings its kinda weird to me
-I'm happy for Turtle and hope jamie lynn seigler hangs out with the gang a some more.
-I don't understand non-profit organizations. I understand the definition of it, but i don't understand it. If you're paying the workers salaries, aren't their salaries...profit? If they were REALLY non profits you would have some sort of forumula for minimum living expenses of employees and they would make that amount.

yo yo...Another Installment of America's favorite game
Bacon-Cheddar Corn pancakes
(A+)
Deep-Fried Ravioli
(pwnange)
Meatbread
Bread infused with ground beef, sausage, and cheese.
(i know most won't like this but I love the look of this)
The Smoker
A half pound ground ribeye, sirloin, prime rib patty topped with Havarti cheese, seven pieces of maple bacon, sauteed onions and smoked pepper mayo.
(i usually don't like the burgers, they are way to big to enjoy, but this looks like a great size and looks good)
Corn Dog Pigs In A Blanket
Fried corn dogs wrapped in American cheese and biscuit dough.
(not the biggest fan of corn dogs, but the bisquit dough may sway me)
In other news, things are going way too well in Entourage, i fear something terrible has to happen pretty soon

yo yo...so before i came to california i was thinkin how its gonna stink because I wont have access to a treadmill right when i wake up like I did at home and in general it will be harder to find times to work out, but its actually been the opposite...i have 3 gyms that i use reguarly so its pretty convenient..my reg gym, my gym at work(at work i like to eat on position or during breaks and then work out during lunch, actually makes day go by quicker), and my gym at my complex here thats a 1 min walk...
today me and karen went to coronado...as i was parking by the beach there were cars on both sides of the road, parked. a car was in front of me and pulled over to the right to park on an open spot on the left, however he just pulled over, didnt signal that he was pulling over, nor that he was gonna go into that spot, i just assumed thats why he pulled over. So i signaled to the left, under cut him and took the spot. For two reasons. 1. i wanted it,but def wouldnt have taken it if eh signaled 2. to teach him a lesson. after i got in very quickly(had to parallel park, and i do that pretty well) he yelled asshole(he was an older man, maybe 50's) i yelled hey thats wat u ge twhen u dont signal. unfortunately he drove away. anyway, i hope he learned his lesson.
karen left tonight. was a fun trip. very busy. wish i didnt have to work in the middle but it still worked out i think. i'm gonna watch clockwork orange before i go to sleep...i hear its fun
