OK, so I'm playing in the pit for a Summer Theater production of Ragtime. The show is this weekend and everyone I know should come or I may not speak to you again.

Place: Felix Festa Middle School (on Parrot Road, right near Albertus)

Times: Today (Thursday) 7:30 pm
Tomorrow (Friday) 10:30 am; 7:30 pm
Saturday 7:30 pm
Sunday 2:00 pm

Tickets are available at the door, and seating is on a first come first served basis. I will totally rock the clarinet, like I always do. So if the show isn't reason enough for you to come...that's another one.

P.S. If you come more than once, I may like you even more!!!!

yo yo...patton oswalt is a very funny man....he was just on carson daly and was talking about how there should only be 20 birthdays....they are as follows

1-9...cuz ur a kid
10....cuz ur in double digits now, things change
13...ur a teen now
16...driving
18...legal in more senses
21...drinking
then a birthday only ever 10 yrs...30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80,

HOWEVER, if you make it to 90, every year 1 law doesn't apply to you...it starts small, when u turn 90 u can legally litter wherever u want...u can throw a burger wrapper in front of a cop and he cant do crap....at 95 u can steal whatever u want...as long as u physically can...and at 100 u can legally murder, but only by strangling or pummeling with fists

i was havin this discussion with liz last nite...if ur in the real world, like not high school, and ur lets say a single guy, how do u know if a girl ur interested in is single or taken? cuz in high school everyone knows everything about everyone, but how does it work in the real world? i always imagine i'll be holding a stack of books/magazines in barnes and noble and then i bump into a girl and we both drop everything and discover we both have the exact same items

...i figure i'll take after liz and gong and just write some random 1 line thoughts here and see how it pans out
i needa cut my hair
i wish i had my job from last summer
i love star wars

So I saw Pirates 2 yesterday with Mark and Nick, and even though other people who have seen it are already raving about it, I didn't care for it. In fact, even though I wasn't expecting a super great movie, I still felt disappointed. I feel that in their attempts to write in action-packed adventure, the movie makers lost the delicate nuances that made Johnny Depp's performance in Pirates 1 the good movie that it was. I feel that the moments in the sequel that were intended to provide humor were a little too outlandish to achieve the desired effect. In addition, the 150 plus minute run time of the movie was a big drawback. Where as Superman was a two and a half hour movie that didn't feel like two and a half hours, Pirates 2 was a two and a half hour movie that left me glancing at my watch waiting for it to end for the last 45 minutes. Needless to say, I felt Orlando Bloom put on a truly delightful performance, and he in my opinion definitely stole the show. As far as Keira Knightley's performance is concerned, she was nothing more than a vapid waste of a character. My final gripe will provide a wee little bit of a plot spoiler (nothing major), so I will allow those of you who don't wish to read about the film to avert your eyes:

Okay, that should be enough...anyway, the one last thing I didn't like about the movie were the ridiculous animal-pirates (yes, I know I'm supposed to suspend my disbelief, but really...come on). And am I to believe that Keira Knightley is really willing to go off on an adventure and save Johnny Depp in the third installment after what he did in this movie? Meh. I think I'll save Pirates 3 for a DVD watch. Going to the movie will probably cost 20 dollars by the time it comes out anyway.

What up. I'm glad someone noticed my attempt to be more toughfi. I'm tired of being pushoverfi. From now on I'm not gonna take shit from anyone. Well, maybe still Vincent. But definitely not my parents, who have noticed me no longer being a pushover to their every whim and called me selfish. Go figure. I should have noticed that Al already doesn't take shit from anyone, therefore establishing her tough front. However, toughfi doesn't plan to get into knifefights on Blauvelt Avenue in downtown Haverstraw. Just to not take shit.

P.S. I've also been a little dietfi lately, and I actually lost 10 pounds. Joy. I also have a weird addiction to lemon-lime club soda.

P.P.S. Come eat at Olives starting on Thursday. They have a great menu of really delicious and unique things, especially some rare middle eastern stuff such as homemade hummus, and falafel. Burgers and wings too. Also some great salads and wraps. Our chef is really awesome.

yo yo....i fucking love Israel...they are so hardcore, and they don't take shit from anyone.
