yo yo....today at work we played a game where we associated each other with food....steve said i was eggplant rollintini, i said he was a devil dog, i said jofi was cabbage but wasnt sure so when efren walked by we asked him, he gave a look that looked like he coudlnt beleive what we asked him but soon realized it was a look of discovery as he quickly announced "broccoli" as if he had been thinking about it for some time

What up. Wait, what? Joefi is posting? Well, this must be a special occasion, you say to yourself in an oh so factly sort of tone because you, the loyal reader, know exactly what mundane happening in my daily life must have throttled me so viciously that I felt the need to document every thought in my head clearly for the public to interpret as they wish. Actually, nothing interesting happened today. Work was the usual bartering with Steve as to who does anything, Adam moved some stuff, and reliable Rob cleaned up shop. The highlight of the day was the invention of the nickname "Reliable Rob" and Adam's theory that if there was a Reliable Rob, then Steve should be Shit Bag Steve. We had a good laugh at that one. Also today, Ali and Jeremy broke up. I guess that is something, though I don't see them staying apart for very long, its kind of serious and I've talked to both of them separately, hoping to solve something, but neither side will budge. I guess its those hard headed relationships that need to do this sort of thing. Anyway, I wouldn't worry about Al, in the words of Matty K, "She'll be aight." Speaking of Matty K, where the hell is he these days? He went to his lake house but he was supposed to come back already (which I found out no thanks to some misinformation from Adam...three weeks? It actually was tomorrow...) So where is he? Anyone know?

yo yo....i enjoy the reality shows vh1 has to offer. On the hulk hogan reality show i find it appealing because it doesnt use the "fighting=good" formula that every other reality show seems to use. The teenage girl seems sooo nice and good hearted, which is a shame cuz as she gets more famous the corrupt of this world will turn her into a paris hilton, no worries tho, her dad is hulk hogan. which reminds me, i'd like to see him fight paris hiltons family. also i want to buy a moped, and i plan on doing so. also, you dont really hear much about quicksand anymore, whatever happend to it?

yo yo....mountain creek saturday the 23rd....get in contact if you'd like to go

What up. Nothing new to report really, just the soon to be switchover into Mac territory...tomorrow I get my powerbook and will be a full blown mac user (what I think of myself)/Traitor(what my Dad calls me)/Imposter(what Nic thinks I am). Whatever you call it, its a smart move since most of the industry I plan to become a part of is using Mac and protools and all that good stuff. So thats that. Wow, sitting here I have realized I have nothing to talk about. Lets dig for stuff. Lately the crytoquote has been kicking my ass, I was good at it for a little while but somehow its killing me now....but I still can figure out the jumble answer right away. Score one for very bad puns. Score two for the fun section of the journal news being the most productive/work filled thing I do all day. Todays challenge? Create a scenerio where you are faced with two equally unattractive options and are forced to pick one. We've been playing this at work for two days straight now. Example: Would you rather (something disgusting/revolting) or (something even worse)? Pretty much anything with the word "doody" in it by the end of the day had us all laughing hysterically. I wonder how the school gets cleaned by September. I like the new Motion City Soundtrack CD. I'm very good at the hangman handheld game at work. I can put a rag in a bucket from several feet away, yet I am bad at basketball. The lunchladies bring us food leftover from summer school every day, and sometimes its not so good. Also the coffee in the morning tastes like cardboard... maybe I should bring in my coffee pot and make some real coffee. Ok now I am just rambling. And my internet dropped for the billionth time. Damn electronic interference. I'm going to nap before I post this, I'm fed up.

*Note* After falling asleep, I didn't actually post this entry until the following morning before work. Thats why its so early.

yo yo....well so far this summer a staple of my weekend has been ER theater on saturday nights (where they play 2 epsiodes in a row from 1:30am-3:30 am). I used to watch ER a lot, then stopped for a lil bit, then started again, so sometimes i dont rememebr some details of the story lines, w/e i dont i ask vincent or elana wats gonna happen or to explain something. Dr Greene just found out he has about 4-6 months to live, and elana was telling my bout the episode when he dies, and i started to get really sad. I love Dr Greene, if i was ever shot, he's probably the second doctor i would want fixing me, (behind Kovach), he's so smart and wise, Dr greene. I used to not care for Dr Lewis that much, but now i like her a lot more, and ive always loved Dr Benton, he too is so passionate about his work. and Dr Carter, like a fine wine, gets better and wiser with age. Actually, i take back wat i said, if i got capped it would be a tie between Kovach and Romano, i know (even though he's dead) a lot don't like him but seeing the episode when lucy got stabbed really made me think differently about him. Weaver aint so bad, Elizabeth sucks, Pratt and Barnett are cool, but i hope the show doesn't put too many young hot shots on. Abby's always been a rock, Gallant means well tho a little awkward, i HATE Neela, never really had an opinion on Jing Mei except that her name is silly, nurse sam (with the kid alex) is hot, i dont remember dr ross but i hear he was a standupl guy, same with carol, (and what they did with her last episode is one of the coolest things a tv show has ever done) Dr dave was aight, oh yea, and Dr weaver looks sooo much like Hillary Clinton.

What up. Yesterday was a good day, quick day at work followed by a very fun evening of chili's and pool. Also caught the best episode of Family Guy, Rock Lobster and all. I wish I could play that whole thing, but I think you need two acoustic guitars to make it work, and the funky tuning...well maybe Nic will learn fast enough. Today was a good day at work, we did NOTHING. Literally. And then Joe continued to commend us for "working our asses off". We drew a map of a classroom with monsters and feris wheels. We saw who could most successfully ride the handtruck (used to move things, normally). Steve longjumped over desks. We played with a bouncy ball. I cleaned a chair by sticking it out the window. The list goes on. I guess we did work our asses off; it takes effort to do nothing so well.
Today it rained. A lot. Rain is a funny thing, its very ambigious in meaning. To some people rain is enjoyable, kind of refreshing. I think of it as a change of pace, makes it more interesting to be awake. On the other hand some people find it depressing, or even a symbol of sadness (Some mid afternoon alliteration Kev). In a way, pouring rain is just like us all leaving for college. It will definetly be refreshing, and a change from the days we're use to here in Rockland, and I'm sure everyone is going to enjoy it....but at the same time its sort of sad. This ambigious feeling about leaving has been on my mind for a while, but I only find myself thinking about it from time to time. I'd rather not think about it just yet. I know we'll have to face it, sooner or later, but when I really think about it, I'm not that afraid. After all, theres no such thing as time. It's our time.
