Hello everyone. Most people probably are unaware of this, but November is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. In the spirit of helping out, the month has been dubbed "Movember" by a group who organize a fundraiser for prostate cancer research.
The premise of the fundraiser is this:
1. A willing volunteer (me) registers to take part in the fundraiser. My responsibilities include growing a "mo" (the Australian slang for mustache) and seeking sponsors to donate. I then get to spend the month of November working on not feeling like a fool about having a porn 'stache. In fact, I even have to fly home for Thanksgiving looking like a sex offender, with a ridiculous mustache.
2. Willing donators (everyone who wants to!) can go HERE to donate any amount (credit cards and pay pal accepted!) And donations are tax deductible! How excellent! Then just sit back, and laugh at the ridiculous pictures of my mustache that will be posted at the end of the month for your enjoyment on Facebook. (Also, those of you who see me home for Thanksgiving can even stroke the glory that will be my 'stache).
OK, and if you don't donate, I guess you can still laugh at me, but I'll think poorly of you.
