yo yo...often times you hear people who criticize the media and the intrusiveness in our society and overall prevalence...i actually like that in our society. I feel that the investigative nature of our media actually serves to protect our citizens. i think that having the media be as powerful as it is here would prevent some injustices that would otherwise not be heard of.
thats also why i kind of like the 2 party system here in america. i feel that having 2 parties prevents corruption. whenever you see in movies where the government has some sort of scandal and tries to quiet some sort of witness to some sort of crime(happens a lot) its kind of scary. think about if your daughter was natalee halloway. without the way our media is it would have been hard to get the same government involvement.
