what up.

prague is awesome. i'm not going to ramble about it, but if you are ever up REALLY early in the morning, or incredibly late at night, you might catch me sitting at the powerbook trying to download american music and look at facebook. i'm trying to figure out why blogger is all in czech. i'm scared.

anyway, i wanted to prompt a discussion. at 11 am eastern european time, (around 5 am in ny) i received word that an nyu girl (and a cleftomaniac for the a capella saavy) passed away in a car crash, which sucks. she was really cool and i was saddened by the news. so i visited her facebook, only to discover the wall had been plastered with a variety of well wishes from friends. now if i was dead, i'd appreciate the show of support, but some of it seemed rather irreverant. somehow the phrase r.i.p. should not make it onto someones wall unless its some sort of joke. but i'm not really sure where the line is in this case. any thoughts blog fans?
