ATTENTION.
This is a public apology for all who were affected by the events of the night of August 3rd into the morning of August 4th. Several factors contributed to the mess, which piled up, sparked, and exploded, hitting several rocklanders around 3 AM eastern standard time. I'd just like to apologize to anyone who received a phone call or text message, and of course to Karen and her friends. They were very brave. The city was ready for us and was not letting me leave without an epic night, which included generous neighbors, taking buses, running through the rain, robbing people, losing things, emptying wallets, being held at gunpoint, and becoming unconcious. Almost in that order. The moral of the story is: never leave your phone on vibrate and go to sleep if people need to reach you. That is all.
