yo yo...been a while...a few things

seeing businesses do poorly in times of high gas prices used to make me feel bad, like airlines and automakers...but after watching Who Killed the Electric Car, i dont feel bad for them AT ALL(well still airlines). i encourage all to watch. the technology is there, and has been...so maybe now giant losses will be wat forces them to stop resisting if there arent other ways to make money

also, they exxon commercials they have where they have scientists talking about reducing emissions and hybrid technology dont sit right with me...there must be another motive for exxon, why on earth would they promote hybrids?? something isn't right

i really like national geographic channel....i was just watching a show debunking hollywood disasters, and i learned interesting things

im glad the supreme court overruled the DC ban of handguns...DC said it was to cause less gun violence, except there were actually more gun deaths last year than there were the year before it was enacted

what up.

two things: one, this is mostly for bert. you gave me a notwist song a while ago, and i wanted to give you a heads up that they have a new album. its called The Devil, You + Me.

two: for anyone who likes girl talk, the new album came out today, and is a pay-what-you-want deal. for anyone who doesn't know girl talk, he's a pretty famous mash up artist who does a bunch of different tracks in one song. check it.

what happened to everyone? ask madden has been pretty dead lately. maybe it's because i sit at a desk four days a week, wired on coffee.

is everyone having a good summer? i saw a lot of you last week but i feel as though we didn't all get to talk very much, i mostly laughed at adam.

what up.

music club this week: two words.

one: iceland's own sigur ros has their new album up. they are hot shit (and write some beautiful stuff). stream their new album here.

two: most people think x&y sucked (and they wouldn't be wrong). however, teaming up with brian eno and trying to do something different has worked wonders for coldplay, because their new album is pretty sweet. its up for streaming here. lots of people heard violet hill and viva la vida already, but you can hear the whole album and i promise.. you won't be disappointed. you might even like it.

thats all folks. if you want more music stuff, visit the blog i work for... i'm going to throw a link up on the sidebar. until next time, blog fans.
