yo yo...so today i saw one of the worst news stories i ever...even counting fictional...apparently in austria a man kept his daughter in a small windowless cellar for 24 years, raped her countless times and had 6 kids with her...she's in her early 40's now...whoa

i don't understand the hubbub and racial outcries about the police shooting of sean bell in queens...the 3 cops on trial are white black and hispanic...

i just now saw jeremiah wright answering questions at a press conference about his crazy rants....if anyone saw the pbs interview he did im sure you all laughed at the silly softball questions lobbed to him...the questions prepared at this press conference were good questions...the last question about US creating HIV made me post...his answer was saying he beleives they are capable of anything and related it to sadaam hussein and his people...i actually said "oh my god..." aloud....i think its actually insulting to black people that he thinks that a virus that is easy to protect against was created to kill his people...its not like cancer or ebola...we KNOW how to not get aids...although i didn't agree with his other answers to questions i think he did a decent job of answering them....when asked about obama retreating from him i think it makes obama seem bad, as wright says he has to do wat a politician needs to do...basically saying obama needs to pretend things to get votes....sure thats kinda known about politicians but he basically said it...he also gets by on his goddamn america comments by saying they are words of bible and all that jazz...which i think would just be better off by not saying, wats the good of sitting around bashing? got an idea to help, say it. its not hard to say things suck

gta4 tonight!

Listening to CNN today I was angered by three things:

1. That these idiot "pundits" can say anything they want and throw out "facts", even though they aren't all correct. (The specific example, paraphrased: "If we look at all of the arguments here, it's obvious that Barack Obama has won in every way. Overall popular vote (true), delegates (not true, he's just ahead), states won (true), and in nationwide polls (not even close to true).")

2. That people don't realize that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are the same candidate, except Hillary Clinton is a white woman with experience, and Barack Obama is a black man with none.

3. That our entire electoral process is just fucked in the head.

yo yo...so im working out geographic preference forms for FAA. I'm contemplating whether to put California(trying san diego area) 1 and Nevada(trying las vegas area) 2 or vice versa. Pros and cons are as follows

LAS VEGAS
Pro
cheaper city and quality of life would be better for money
probably an easier time of getting hired there due to staffing

Con
Hot
in middle of nowhere(i actually kinda like that)

San Diego

Pro
Good Weather
Cool Location
There is a large radar facility that has staffing needs

Con

Expensive City
Busy Air Traffic, chance of washing out greater

It might not even matter which is 1 or 2 as they might offer me whichever is in more need, but who knows.

Two quick comments:

1. David Cook makes me want to kill myself. The Idol judges fawning over David Cook make me want to do it painfully.

2. Everyone should say hello to their new President, effective January 20, 2009: John McCain.

yo yo...i just got back from the best jason mraz concert i ever been to. the venue was so awesome. it was small, and we got a table on the balcony that had such a great view, wasnt very high and was close, so we got to sit, lean on balcony, no one around, it was awesome. jason was awesome, there was a frickin magician as the host of the night, awesome horn players, no electric guitar(i like my jason w/o electric guitar)...and to top it off while waiting in line toca just walked up the line chatting with people and taking pics, he introduced himself to all of us and chatted, he's a very nice guy

I'm watching a Chris Hanson NBC special. It's just like "To Catch a Predator", except infinitely more lame. Rather than outing pedophiles who have arranged sexual rendezvous with minors, the topic of the show is "deceptive and misleading insurance salesmen"...really?! It has the same dramatic flair as "To Catch a Predator", except without the ILLEGAL aspect of what's being caught on camera. Rather than catching a middle aged man bringing condoms and sex toys to a 12 year old girl or boy, it's middle aged men not being completely forthright about the penalties of withdrawing money from your annuity at greater than 10 percent per year. So, just to clarify, rather than catching a pedophile, Chris Hanson is now "catching" a businessman who, rather than saying "you lose 16% of your principal if you withdraw more than 10% from your annuity in a year", he only says "there's a penalty associated with...". Really...an HOUR of television based on this premise. How lame.

yo yo...i think people throw around the term "racist" too much and it bothers me. you constantly hear of people in news having to apologize for racist remarks that are not racist at all. for instance there was that person who said that obama wouldn't be where he is if he was white. everyone got up in arms that it was racist. why is it racist to point something out that is pretty much true. to me racism is treating someone different solely for the reason of their race. i honestly beleive i don't do that. i will however treat someone of a differnet race differnet if they also carry themselves poorly. to me its more about the way a person speaks and carries themselves.
i also think there's nothing wrong with realizing certain racial stereotypes. lets face it, stereotypes aren't randomly made up. they're usually true and for a reason. i think a lot more people stereotype than they would like to think.
mainly i think that the obama comment had nothing wrong with it. making a comment about the political race in terms of race race doesnt make someone racist. they didnt say he's dumb cuz he's black, or something like that. end.

yo yo...so my dad got an email that a certain episode of a certain HBO show was uploaded from our ip address. then the whole spheel about under this act and this code blah blah please stop pretty please. its pretty silly. from what ive conlcuded from research is that a company like hbo will hire a third party company to see who's uploading/downloading their stuff and on the findings emails will get sent to the ISP's. From what i gather they will get tons of them, to the point of spamming and nothing ever really stems from it. most of the time you can just tell them you deleted it blah blah. in the accusation against me it says i uploaded a certain file. i have no disabled uploading so nothing like that can happen and now will peruse net in hidden ip's and protect myself from unwanted ip's trying to connect to mine....when deleting remnants of torrents from my machine i was quite impressed the collection i have amassed. at least im getting my moneys worth

Jim Carey and Jenny McCarthy need to have more children. One with AIDS so they can cure AIDS and one with cancer so they can cure cancer. What a lame start they got with curing autism. I guess they have to start small though. Can't start out with a whopper unless you're prepared to work for it.

yo yo...beware, as this post might not make sense to most.

i am so excited for the release of Grant Theft Auto 3 (4-29). This has been my all time favorite video game series. Like all the other installements, each one has severely raised the bar for all other video games that would be released. The last two (vice city and san andreas) were still under the umbrella of 3, as technologically they were still using the same game engine, just a little more developed. This next one will be making so many leaps. I am trying not to read about it too much and not get too excited, as i have 28 days. I'm going to pre buy it tommorrow, at whichever store will have a midnight release. I will then try to alter my sleep scheduloe the week before so i can wake up just before midnight, go to the release and get a solid 20 hrs of play.
