yo yo...so having comedy central on while i play pictionary inspired me to post.....i dont like the beginning half of jon stewarts show, all he does is show a news clip and then he imitates them, i never even chuckled.....i like his interviewing better cuz he shows traces of sincerity.....now, stephen colbert, i find the first part of his show to be clever and funnier than jon stewart, however, i dont like him interviewing, i actually feel bad for the guys that go on his show

yo yo.....so, Geico has decided to really run with this caveman theme, eh?

also, the one thing i can't stand are unsolved crimes. things like the OJ murder, and Natalie Hollaway, etc. it bothers me so much.

fucking Haloscan wasn't letting me post comments. So...here are my comments on Adam's post:

1.) I feel like you've complained about people being offended before...not sure if it actually happened or if it was deja vu

2.) In all seriousness, those girls probably were nappy headed hos to begin with

3.) I agree about people not answering questions, I hate it

4.) I agree about the backup singers. It wasn't this week, and I dont remember when it was, but I think it was one of Melinda's performances when all you could hear was loud, crappy backup singers.

5.) the supreme court probably has more important things to do than rule on such a stupid issue. I'm surprised they even agreed to hear the case. Who cares how much he's paid...give him seventeen trillion dollars for all I care...I'm not paying for it

yo yo...i don't like all this talk about "people being offensive". not because i believe in free speech(tho i do), but because i simply don't buy that these people are actually being offensive. For an example, lets take the rutgers basketball team. If i was one of them, i would not be offended if someone ive never met called the whole team the same word. Why would a generalized racial slur offend me? its not based on me as a person. i'd be more offended if someone actually said something about my character or something actually meaningful instead my race or religion. i don't think most people are actually getting offended by things people say on tv or radio, but rather think one COULD, so decide to make a stink about it.

on an entirely different topic, i hate the way any celebrity or famous sports figure answers questions, and how reporters dont follow up. i HATE copping out, for instance there was a coach from a basketball team who was asked

"does the possibility ofrobert horry getting suspended worry you?"

he answered something like "that isnt for me to decide, the people in the front office are going to do what they're going to do and its not for me to decide"

ok, thats wonderful, but why dont u answer if it worries you! i wish the reporter who asked woulda interrupted before they went on to the next question and said "umm i didnt ask if its for you to decide, i asked if it worries you"

however, then someone other than the coach would have deemed it offensive, and all parties would go to jail

another thing, i can't stand the use of backup singers on american idol, some songs just sound worse with them ,when blake did roxanne it needed it, however they should be male singers not female, it sounded bad with female singers....then blake did "this love" and 3 backup girls sang the whole chorus with him, and it sounded stupid, there should have been no backup

one more thing that grinds my gears, i was watching on news today about how a reporter wanted joe paterno's( a famous college football coach from penn state who's been coaching for 40 years there) salary disclosed, but the university didnt want to disclose it, blah blah, so it is going to the supreme court. the reporter said the supreme court would rule in 6 months to a year. now, granted i don't know much about how the supreme court works, but i would think a decision like that could be made during a commercial of american idol.

What up. I'd like to formally announce, since no one seems to know when I mention it: I will not be returning to Rockland for the summer. I am staying exactly where I am, so come visit. Or let me know when you will be in town. I have an aerobed, a nice roommate, and a whole lot of ideas. Ideas so smart, that my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about.
