Scorsese won his precious Oscar. I suppose that makes it: PIMP 1, SCORSESE 1, with the tie to be broken by a no holds barred royal rumble cage match.

What up. Random stream of thoughts:

I'm very impressed when people manage to be poetic without just sounding stupid and sappy. I guess its kind of subjective though. I wish I wrote song lyrics.

I thought about it, and I don't really HATE any celebrities as much as I should. I'm kind of just indifferent, even with people like Carson Daly who deserve my hatrid.

What ever happened to Matty K?

Mass Transit Concert March 2nd, which means most of you will be focused on NRHS drama and may not be able to make it. That's cool, but see if you aren't too busy those of you not teching or whatever.

Bouchon Bakery is home to many things I love.

In 45 minutes I am going to call Vincent and yell at him.

I wish David Duchovny would do something new with his life.

I'm bad at spelling.

Every guy has an ideal look that they want to pull off, sometimes embodied by a particular celebrity or character. I want to look like Patrick Dempsey. Except at night, then I want to look like Batman.

I like The Office because I find the Jim/Pam struggle to be just the right amount of tension and suspense in an estranged romance to keep me satisfied yet wanting more. And it just reminds me of what its like to have a relationship like that (I've been there). I don't want to sell paper though.

The TV seems to be full of flip flops and shorts, and warm weather. I drool when I see these things. Florida in 3 weeks.

Is Ann Coulter a celebrity? If so, I take it back, I REALLY hate her.

I'm tired.

be a yo yo....sometimes i wonder how my personality might be different if the internet never existed, or well, the communication part of it. I wonder if i might interact with people differently? I know internet communication certainly is a good thing. Other than the usuals like im's and what have you, i frequent message boards that allow me to communicate and share ideas with people who have common interests and can share knowledge. Stuff like that is certainly a good thing. plus without high speed internet, i would probably never get to see people get hurt doing stupid things.
Another thing i discussed with nici earlier was my interest and confusion with the banking industry. There are lots of things i dont understand about it. Mainly, the way it makes money. From what i understand, they make its money pretty much of the interest of loans, and less profound the surcharges people frequently get assessed. However, in my personal case i think i've made more money off the bank than i've given them. But im sure for many other people its quite the opposite.
going back to the personality thing, i wonder if when someone notices a personality flaw, or something they dont like about their personality, at the point that they notice, has it been quite noticeable for some time from the others around them?
as i watched, well listened, to last call with carson daly the other nite and discussed with smoo about how late nite with smoo would make a better show i thought about why it still on, and this is what i came up with. he doesn't offend(i hate that word) or make anyone really angry. I think they keep him here cuz he's safe, and won't do anything to ruin the network. I think NBC would be better off just starting the late night reruns earlier, cuz im sure most would rather a conan episode from 3 days prior than carson.
now to follow after gong and liz, i'll say a random statement

i want sushi...now...and forever

Jordan, Justin, and I played in the snow today. It was fun. It was knee deep. In the engineering quad some engineers had made an igloo. It was big enough for two of us to go in at once. It was significantly warmer in it than outside, and it was sheltered from the elements. No wonder the Eskimos live in them. It was truly cozy.

Fuck stats and fuck Econ. I don't like them anyway.

yo yo....normally i wouldnt watch the grammys but im very excited for the police reunion so im watching, and i really wanna see the red hot chili peppers win

in the preshow ryan seacrest interviewed cee lo of gnarls barkly, asked him wat the song crazy means, and i never heard a worse answer, he said it means however the person interprets it, repeated that several times, and how it can be something to lean on, which basically translates to "i got no idea"
i liked john mayers answers, when asked if he thought his album could win he said something like how he things is album is out of the scope, and that the dixie chicks could def win, also, when ryan seacrest asked him about jessica simpson he answered him in japanese and told him to have someone translate it
i think ryan seacreast is actually not a bad interviewer, the other girl on E! tho sounded so fake, idk how i could not laugh at her if she was interviewing me
just saw the police form, man that was awesome, what i liked about it was they didnt add a bunch of other background stuff like other artists and bands tend to do when they play big venues, compare to the dixie chicks performance who had an extra 10 people! and justin timberlake, i think he has even more

What up. Remember the time when Adam got mad at all of us for never posting and kicked us all of the blog permanently? And me and Matty K made our own blog for a short while with Nici and Karen (and eventually Liz)? That was funny. It's even funnier that "wing night" was the short name of the sub LSD drug "Wow oh wowee wow wow" that Matt invented to sell through the blog circa September 2003. Priceless.

You can actually go back in the blog to the first road trip to Cornell. And back approximetly three girlfriends in Joefi time. It makes time travel possible. Sweet.

Today's high temperature was an astounding SEVEN degrees with wind chill of -14 degrees. That's Farenheit, not Celsius. This sort of weather in not acceptable. I'm all for global warming. Fuck the penguins and polar bears. I hear penguins smell anyway. And polar bears are no cooler than any other variety of bear.

EDIT: The following are my submissions in the "choose a hairstyle" contest, in order of preference from least favored to most favored:

sixth

fifth

fourth

third

second

By far the best

RE-EDIT: I was just thinking. I hope Martin Scorsese gets the Oscar this year for The Departed, seeing as he's never won an Oscar. Doesn't that seem strange considering some of the other people who have won Oscars, ie: It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp...

Pimp 1, Scorsese 0 (*womp*)

What up.

I didn't watch the superbowl. Instead I got extremely depressed watching Greys Anatomy. Why do millions of people watch a show every week that gets you so down about life??

Adam's new haircut.

TOyo yo....thoughts on super bowl so far(tho not football related)

first, the halftime musical choice...prince.....i know people critisized their choices the last two years for being old(paul mcartney and rolling stones) but at least they are still popular, when was the last time prince had a hit? and it pisses me off cuz they are probably way overpaying him just because its the super bowl, i'd honestly rather have fred armisen just impersonate him as the halftime show

when they said "and now to perform the national anthem" i was expecting someone crappy since PRINCE was the halftime guest...but then frickin billy joel, why couldnt they reverse that, or just let him do both, also, i thought it was amazing how well they time the fly by from the jets.....right when he finished they flew by, i was amazed by thats,

go colts, i'll edit at the end hopefully congratulating them

EDIT
congrats colts, although i wasnt THAT into the game cuz part of me wanted to see the bears succeed as well

**CONTEST NOTICE**
my hair is getting pretty lengthy now, so, i think i wanna get a new hairstyle....whoever can find the best hair style (link to a pic must be included, preferably celebrity, regular people suck) wins a prize to be determined

you know what...I really couldn't care less about the Super Bowl...and I think I'm better off for it. It just seems to make today so much less stressful. Though unfortunately there's nothing else on TV. I'll keep busy somehow.

I was at the hockey game last night, and our pep band played "Get It On", by Bill Chase, which we played with Mr. Holsberg in Jazz Ensemble. I enjoy that song. At one point I laughed out loud because they played a short note as a long one and I thought of P-hol holding up his two fingers in a downward fashion to indicate the short accent marks and giving us dirty looks when we didn't play them. I think he actually yelled at us out loud, on stage at NYSSMA once for doing that.

And then I thought of the time P-Hol got mad at Charlie Blaha for always talking and he took the plastic guitar he was messing around with and smashed it to bits on the bandroom door...good times.

What up.

I already told Adam this, but for the general public: That is, in fact a picture of my cousin with some random guy. My mothers twin sisters daughter. That is all.

Also, I've gotten into the office lately. Very good show.

t hyo yo....(backstory, the summer after 10th grade i was a camp counselor at a private camp, didnt return the next year, miss kids)

so for fun i looked up some of the campers whose full names i remembered(i actually remembred most) on myspace, they were in 3rd grade at the time so now about 7th, so its plausible that they would have one...anywyas, i def found a cple(boy have they changed)....if i messaged them they'll invite me over and Chris Hansen will probably be there, right?

EDIT
"i got a muffin top...its when your fat hangs over your pants....eff you, this is america, im not gonna do a sit up, im just gonna call it something cute" a girl comedian said that, made me laugh

I've developed quite an affinity for avocados. They are, perhaps, the most fun food. Opening an avocado is like playing a game; it's so much fun. And they're tasty too. I especially like the avocado/citrus pairing; particularly limes, which I also find delicious.

I am reminded of this, because avocados were just on sale at Wegman's, and I bought two, which I just cut open and used to make guacamole. It's now sitting in the refrigerator, allowing its flavors to meld, which is apparently an important step in the guacamole-making process.

Along the culinary lines, I had quail for dinner. It was delicious. I highly recommend it to everyone.

If anyone saw the premier of Top Design on Bravo last night, please let me know and allow me to evaluate if I should bother watching it. I am a fan of Project Runway, and even more so of Top Chef, but I don't know if I like the idea of Top Design, we will have to see.

Farewell for now. As you can see by this point, I am in fact alive and attempting a comeback, as per a request. We'll see how this goes. My life is just so boring...

yo yo...i wanna hang glide...that is all
