yo yo...i hate people that "get offended" by things, i really truly do. For instance, all the hubbub you see about people being offended about merry christmas signs or other religious favoritism. More often than not, people are not actually offended, they just see it as a way to feel important. they're thinking that if they can argue somehow that its affecting someone, and get it changed, they'll feel important. i mean, a sign hung up at a business that says "fuck jews" or "screw christ" ok, that would be offesnive, but it also goes with things like public breast feeding, does it really OFFEND you? it might be weird, sure, but does it actually OFFEND you??
**edit**(based on nici's comment)
example, lets say one was making diarrhea into another one's face...that is offensive...if you saw that you wouldnt say "ahem, that is offensive, i might tell ur manager" or wat have u, they would run away, so if a situation doesnt cause u to run away, choose to, or shut up

yo yo....i think holiday gift giving is stupid...gifts should only be given if someone really thinks the person would enjoy it, and doesnt go out of their way to find the person the said gift....i can count on 2 fingers gifts ive gotten that ive actually enjoyed/appreciated, no wait, 3, too often when someone needs to get someone a gift its like "they like this subject area, so here's a book on it" etc, there are special circustances when a gift is considered thoughtful...im also hard to please

yo yo....so this weekend a bunch of us saw jofi's mass transit concert at NYU. it was very very good. we are very proud of jofi. he does a good job of warming the crowd. but most of all i am totally obsessed with one of the high tenor's voices, it literally has no limit to its range
