yo yo.....what do people think of love at first sight? do people buy it? i personally don't i think its an excuse to be "in love" with a really hot girl that you see that doesn't have a personality. I think you have to know someone to love them. There hasta be an attraction to someone, whether its looks, or noticing something funny they said, or something witty, or maybe just meeting each other by chance. But that's jsut one man's opinion

yo yo....ok, here is the scenario....

You are hosting a party and can invite ANY 10 people, who would it be?

1.Conan O'Brien
2. Jack Black
3.Sting
4. Arnold Schwarzenegger
5.Jason Mraz
6.Neil Diamond
7.Amy Poehler
8. Nick Lachey
9.Pow Pow
10. Howard Stern

hey everyone!!! Just procrastinating (what else is new?) so After last night's stupid stupid display of ignorance and idiocy and from her appearance on Conan, I officially HATE, no. not hate. LOATHE Paris Hilton. She was discussing her book on Conan and one of her suggestions was, "look ditsy. Lose stuff." and when Conan asked her why this was, it was bc it was "cute". Ok. **News Flash** you don't look cute when you lose things, you look irresponsible, careless, thoughtless, and its just plain Stupid to lose things on purpose. I hate her. She has no working skills, looks like a skinny little slut [which she is] and has less intelligence (not to mention less use) than a paper cup.

On a different note, I was looking at a picture of myself and I noticed that my nose is larger than i had believed, So i ask the readers, "Do I have a big nose?" Respond in the comments, thanks.

yo yo...me mark and chris decided to nite we are all gonna compete in a weight loss/get-in-better-shape a thon. but its not really against each other as much as its all for ourselves and we are all just gonna support, enourage and motivate each other.

I was thinking of opening a restaurant. I think I'd call it "Just Deserts" because of the clever pun associated with the title. Anyone interested in opening with me? If so, let me know. I think it could be fun...

And just so no one steals my idea..."Just Deserts"...PATENT PENDING! COPYRIGHT 2005! PATENT PENDING!

yo yo....i'm watching leno and nromally i dont like him, but i have to say last nite he had on Don Rickles(who was close to johnny carson) and Bob Newhart and Drew Carey and the whole episode was a reflection on Johnny Carson, and i have to say i am not normally a fan of leno, but on that nite i was, it was a really touching episode. I was not lucky enough to be around for Carson, but i do know that he made late nite tv wat it is today and its a big part of my life, so i give Johnny wherever he is a salute to a truly great man.

yo yo....sparked on by a convo i had with jenny, i am going to list my favorite hairstyles for girls, guys feel free to comment, no girls!

1. Wet, messy bun-prolly one of the my all time favorites, has to be messy, but still have enough shape to be considered a bun

2. straight down to the sides with a middle part -simple but i love it

3. A verrry high pony tail -i know is sounds chearleaderish but the higher the better, also goes well with a cap or a visor or some sort of athletic attire

4.Pigtails with thug hat(winter hat) - Another personal favorite, but cant be worn too often, the pigtails and hat MUST be together for the effect to occur

yo yo.....adam here and i gonna share a weird dream i had last nite. So iw as hanging with [smut] and we went to the high school for drama, well me and kevin did, and bob said he would meet us there when it was over. SO i went in and sat next to jofi, and he commented on something mr roth said when mr roth was lecturing us. I told jofi he was wrong and jofi scolded me telling me that if i came to all the rehearsals i would've known he was right! Then i got very defensive and said "i didn't miss ANY rehearsals!!!" and then i said"o wait, im not IN drama anymore!"

What up. A good love song makes you want to be in love, or think of someone who is in your heart. That's what I think. So its not any one part, but the overall effect.

P.S. I love breakfast sandwiches.

yo yo....what makes a good love song good, the words or the music?

p.s.-i realize now that i wish i woudl've started boxing and fencing when i was little, if i did i would be unstoppable now

What up. Very excited about Into the Woods. Putting the cast aside, I feel like this year we have such an all star production team and crew, we're going to be set up very well. I heard Suffern is doing Into the Woods, which I already knew I think, but I thought more about how our set is going to blow theirs away, and how our production team is so on top of things (Jen and Nicole!) and the whole crew is awesome and really does excellent work, and of course Mr. Roth, whose all around know-how has led to us really putting on a true production. I hope we can live up to our potential. Only time and hard work will tell....After all these years of being in North Rockland I feel like it gets more professional every year. The straight play especially was a high for me. And of course, I'm happy to be opposite Ruthie, she's fun. I like the way she plays the part, I totally see her as the Baker's Wife (not the cheating part of course....heh). She has definitely got to get that confidence up! I hope her and Edyne (Wow, it occured to me I have no idea how to spell her name, and I really hope thats right?) hold it down in women's choir while I'm not there. Oh well, I guess its all women again. Well I'm feeling slightly sore throatish, so I'm going to bed. Night everyone.

20. "Land of make believe/And it don't believe in me"

Good luck.

Okay, so when you're bored, you find things to do. In looking through people's weblogs, I have found something fun/interesting (a sort of game, if you will) that can be 'played' through the blog. The way it works: You randomize all the music in your music library and take the first twenty songs (no matter how embarrassing they might be). Then, in order, you post your favorite lyric from the song on the blog (preferably keeping to a one or two line maximum). THEN, people use the comment function to see how many of the songs they can identify by the given lyric (give only the numbers that you can identify, not the names of the song, as then no one else would be able to play); winner gets a prize (perhaps a cookie). (If any of the songs in the top 20 do not have lyrics (no solfege allowed), skip them and use the first twenty songs WITH lyrics). Without further ado, here is my list of twenty songs, represented by my favorite lyrics from those songs (guess away, winner gets a cookie):

1.) "I said 'Would you call me?'/She said 'Pardon me, are you ballin'?'/I said 'Darling, you sound like a prostitute pursing.'"
2.) "It was my right to die as well./Instead I live, but live in hell."
3.) “Ratatouille Strychnine/Sometimes she's a friend of mine/With a gigantic whirlpool/That will blow your mind”
4.) "Jackie O, we loved her so./So did Mr. President as far as we know."
5.) "Now you should never have to watch as your only children are lowered into the ground./I mean you should/Never have to bury your own babies."
6.) "Stasera da cucina nu poco di vino ci au lasciar/A quando si briaggo a Pepino giong apa"
7.) "I stayed grounded as the amounts roll in/I'm real, I thought I told you"
8.) "You'll hang with the right cohorts/you'll be good at sports,/know the slang you've got to know"
9.) "I don't need you to worry for me 'cause I'm alrigh/I dont want you to tell me it's time to come home."
10.) "He filled up my empty life./Filled it to the brim./There could never, ever be another one like him."
11.) "I lost my faith, you gave it back to me./You said no star was out of reach./You stood by me and I stood tall."
12.) "Hide it in a hiding place where no one ever goes./Put it in your pantry with your cupcakes."
13.) "I just want to be who I want to be./I guess that's hard for others to see."
14.) "E' sempre misero/chi a lei s'affida/chi le confida/mal cauto il core."
15.) "Maybe I'm just too demanding./Maybe I'm just like my father, too bold./Maybe you're just like my mother./She's never satisfied."
16.) "I'll never know what made it so exciting./Why all at once my heart took flight."
17.) "I always had the biggest hits/The biggest bathrooms at the Ritz/My showgirls had the biggest tits."
18.) “"Su navi per i mari/Che io lo so./No, non ho esistono piu'/Con te io li rivivro' con te..."
19.) "Wherever we go/whatever we do/as long as you got me/and I got you/we got a lot/because we got/each other."
20.) "Your love is thick/And it swallowed me whole."

This should be interesting...

In keeping with Adam's post below, I too have decided to compose a list of some of my favorite meals. IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER (,GONG!):

1.) Filet Mignon (medium rare, which is equivalent to a warm, RED center and pink around the edges)
2.) Tuna Steak (very rare)
3.) Sushi and Sashimi
4.) Flautas (beef or chicken)
5.) Lasagna, Ravioli, Manicotti, Stuffed Shells
6.) Red Lobster's Cheddar Biscuits
7.) Edamame
8.) Dumplings (fried/steamed pork)
9.) Shrimp (battered and fried or scampi)
10.) Stuffed red peppers or mushrooms
11.) rice of all varieties (white, yellow, brown, pork fried, steamed, etc.)

yo yo....these are my favorite meals....coupled with a good tv show and a good couch and a good drink and maybe good company nothing beats it

•Middle Sicilian slice and garlic knots from ciceros

•cajun shrimp alfredo from red lobster
•the thing i awlays get from chilis, i forget wat it is, karen , u always get it too
•KEVIN thinks its a pizza burger from any diner

I have this feeling that this semester is going to be a disaster for me. I'm not worried about my grades, or my living situation, but rather that there's going to be so much fucking snow and it's going to be so damn slippery that I am going to fall and kill myself. In my two trips to the bookstore today (don't ask why there were two) I nearly fell (due to the slippery slush, not even ice) no less than seven times, one of which would have undeniably resulted in me plummetting to my death into the gorge. Now, I was never really a boy of the ice, but I think my ability to deal with slippery walking surfaces is deteriorating. I used to only ocassionally have troubles, and often blamed them on shoes with 'poor traction.' Now, however, no matter what type of footwear I have on (hell, I could be wearing metal spikes on the bottom of my shoes) I always have difficulty walking on slush, ice, snow, etc. It's quite depressing. I am considering carrying around a bucket of salt wherever I go and salting the path in front of me as I walk...

yo yo....well i can't even describe in words how much i had last nite. Me vincent Jofi and Jenny went to a restaurant/cafe place in Pawling, Ny, to see the Vivino Brothers Band, which 3 of the members (Jerry the sax/flute/clarinet player, Jimmy the guitarist and Mike the bassist) play in the Max Weinberg 7 on Conan's show. The show was awesome, i cant even desribe how awesome they were. Watching just how they worked off each other really makes you beleive that their ears are like mutant powers or something. its just so amazing. During one song in the middle they went into the Austin Powers theme(jerry played the piccolo) it was real cool. at one point jimmy and the keyboardist both played the piano at the same time and that was really cool. but the best part was during a song Jerry played a tenor sax and soprano sax AT THE SAME TIME! and he was solo-ing all over the place with both, it was soooo cool.
After the show we talked to Jerry beccause while i was outisde jenny told him how much a fan i was, we chatted and we told him how we are students of Mike Roth(he lives around the corner from him) and it turns out Jerry's father in law (who we also met) was Mr roth's teacher. He said to us "i'm your teacher's teacher!" he was really nice.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it was the best concert i've seen.

On another note, winter break has been kind of dishearting. there were so many things i had planned to do and people i had plan to see before winter break and i accomplished just about none of them, and tuesday is not enough time to do it all.

yo yo...

Is it weird while watching conan to clap and scream "yay conan!" when he does/says funny things?

Wednesday, January 12, 2005

What up. Today started out a bad day when two pounds of snow fell on me as I was cleaning my car (windshield wipers on, door open...) I was not a happy camper. But after finding out how much fun the musical is going to be, I was happy to be pelted with snow. Snowball fights are a great way to end the day, especially after getting pumped up for the musical. Good times.

Sunday, January 09, 2005

yo yo...ok, so i saw the coolest thing tonight. Me steve and Big D were standing my chilis watching the game and a group of hot girls walked by and one of them ditched her friends to check the score!

Wednesday, January 05, 2005

I forgot to mention in my post below, this is all in accordance with my new policy which dictates that if I dont like you/if you piss me off, you'll know about it. :)

What up. Once again we're chilling here in physics with nothing to do. Snow day ruined our trip to see Fiddler, but oh well, I get to go home and sleep. Now I will attempt to copy down everything everyone is saying: " Then you can just pass them down, digs....dick? What? Oh. I decided to sit in the car for twelve hours....it was parked in my driveway...I didn't wanna stop.....John Martin is doing them...no he didn't...theres only so many words..." Wow. Ok time to go fight for our lives in the parking lot. Peace.

yo yo...so tonite vincent and steve came over and we made nachos(1) and watched conan. After that we played various poker games with simba watching (2) and then stephen and vincent played blackjack agaisnt each other for about an hour, switching on and off who is the "house." Soon stephen fell asleep and told us to wake him when it was mcdonalds breakfast time. Me and vincent watched tv and commented on it and as we were getting ready to wake him up vincent knocked over a jar of pickle juice. Stephen later told us he saw that but thought he was dreaming. We then went to mcdonalds breakfast but pretended like we going to work soon like everyone else, not kids who stay up all nite.

(1) i grated cheddar cheese and put it on a plate of tortilla chips and put it in the microwave but the cheese didnt melt well, do any girls know why?

(2) simba was depressed lately so i was happy she had visitors over tonite, she had extra energy. while we were playing poker on the floor she does what she alwyas does, stands right in the middle and knocks over peoples chips. but then she layed down next to me and layed down next to us the whole nite. when she got up and went to her bed on the otherside of the room much later he tail woke up stephen, it was funny.

Sunday, January 02, 2005

What up. Sorry I've been dead to the world for the past few days but I had all four of my wisdom teeth out and I've been recovering. I promise to blog more. As soon as I can eat properly again.
